How incredibly lucky are we?!  We got to spend time with the Kovar Family here in North Texas on a beautiful Texas evening!  Pam and I have known each other for YEARS!  We both are from the same hometown back in Missouri, we went to Jr. High together and my mom was her 4th Grade Teacher ... but this was the first time I met her incredibly beautiful [inside and out] family!

September Booking Special - Benefiting Kids Should Not Have Cancer

ANYONE who has done business with me in the past, knows just how important it is for me to attach a charity or foundation to our business in someway shape or form.  This month's special is no different.  I am so honored and thrilled to be able to partner with KIDS SHOULD NOT HAVE CANCER FOUNDATION, in memory of Jonny Wade. Who's main objective is to conquer pediatric cancer through research and political action, with an emphasis on responsible spending.

Because we feel SO strongly about this - we want to give back!  Not only have we offered a September Booking Special, but we will be auctioning off on Saturday Night a completely, no strings attached, family session at the Touch of Gold Auction.  Our September Booking Special is as follows ...

20% OF ALL

Booking Session Proceeds [the retainer to book your session] will go directly to Kids Should Not Have Cancer Foundation.

The Booking Retainer is the amount put down at the time of booking your session.  ALL sessions must be held between September 1st through December 31st, 2017.  All you have to do to give back, is to book your session in SEPTEMBER!  You're Family [Including ALL NAMES] will be given as part of the check written at the end of September, as names who have supported Kids Should Not Have Cancer Foundation.  You do NOT have to book a session to give. 15 Minutes is all it Takes

How did my kids get so old?!  My Older Son Braeden is now almost as tall as me, wears the same size shoes, and is correcting me on pop culture events ... he's 9!  And my little guy, I swear, is smarter than me on so many levels!  So how did I get here?!  It's SO easy to look at them one day and almost forget what it was like when they were younger.  I am constantly taking photos of my kids, but I have to think about all the families out there that only take family photos once a year, or maybe every other year.  It baffles my mind, just because they grow SO fast.

Last evening after meet the teachers, I took the boys out and capture these memories.  15 minutes is ALL it took.  I think so people get too caught up in the outfits, and the accessories, and then timing that they feel overwhelmed.  I didn't buy a single thing for this shoot last night.  They are clothes that they already owned, and that was it.  I made them shower, so I guess that took time :) But other than that, it only took us 15 minutes to capture these photos that I will look back on year-after-year.
